He sought support for the quantitative analysis of his mixed-method research, which focused on data collected from 395 fishermen in coastal Bangladesh. The challenges included:
- Data Digitization: Converting hard copy data from 395 surveys, each containing 51 questions, into a digital format. This was a time-consuming and resource-intensive task.
- Data Quality Validation: The questionnaire lacked a standardized model and categorization, and the response options were inconsistent, complicating quality testing.
- Innovative Solutions: Identifying appropriate analytical methods given the dataset’s limitations and ensuring the questionnaire’s validation.
- Quantitative Analysis and Reporting: Conducting descriptive statistical analyses and creating meaningful graphical representations to support the qualitative findings.
